Bellator NASCAR fight series headlined by Johnson vs. Pearce

Although the card seems like a set of “dark” matches Bellator’s NASCCAR fight series continues to reach out to racing fans with a card headlined by Omar Johnson vs. Jonathan Pearce.  Bellator NASCAR Talladega, aka Monster Energy Bellator MMA Fight Series at Talladega Superspeedway, takes place October 13th at the Talladega Superspeedway in Lincoln, Alabama.

Omar Johnson had a good record at 6-0 going into his Bellator debut in October 2016 but unfortunately for him he took his first loss via unanimous decision to Jaleel Willis.  Of his six wins Johnson holds five by KO/TKO and one by unanimous decision.  5-3 Jonathan Pearce stumbled in 2016-17 taking his three losses in a row in Valor Fights and Shogun Fights but bounced back with a rear-naked choke of Damir Ferhatbegovic at Bellator NASCAR Bristol in August.

In the co-main event 4-4 Frank Tate faces 2-1 Kem Oti.  Tate is coming off three losses in a row starting with his Bellator debut against Mike Wessel last October and followed up with regional show losses to Chris Barnett and Everett Sims.  Nkemdirim “Kem” Oti defeated Terrance Hodges and DeWayne McQueen then lost to Jahsua Marsh.
