In the EBI countdown show, Gordon Ryan claims the secret of his success is training all day every day. 2-7 sessions.
How is this possible? I get that younger athletes recover faster but that still seems like an impossible schedule.
How do they stay healthy looking and relatively injury free (to the point they can at least compete at highest level)?
I know I’m not an athlete and I’m a little older but if I train 4 times a week my body is covered in bruises and I will have a decent amount of pain and will want to sleep a little extra. I can’t picture how somebody could train over and over and over again without any recovery for years on end.
So what’s the scoop guys? Anybody on here a serious competitor who keeps a similar schedule? How you doing it?
