Since I started BJJ ~1 year ago I’ve been dedicating most of my time there while previously Id probably have been in the gym doing weight training.
While I really love the sport I’ve noticed I’ve gotten a bunch smaller, lost probably 10 lbs (was never that big a guy to start so thats a lot) and gotten a bunch weaker. I want to start getting back to weight training but don’t want to sacrifice mat time for it.
Do you guys do weight training as well? If so what kind of ratio do you aim for in time investment? 60/40 in mat/weights? 70/30? Trying to get an idea of the regiments people use out there.
